Hello ESSDA Members,

Here is the Agenda for the Annual General Meeting of the ESSDA which is due to take place on Friday 25th of July, after the Friday competition at the EUROGAMES in Barcelona.

The venue is still to be confirmed.

As part of this meeting, for the first time, we will elect pre-nominated candidates to be your seven representatives on the Board. There are nine candidates, so your vote will count!

Please cast your vote. If you are not attending the meeting you can post a voting paper, or you can appoint a proxy to hand in your voting paper for you.

AGENDA:

  1. Introduction to the meeting – Co-Presidents

  2. The Annual Report of the Board (overview over the work done, in EGLSF, for Barcelona, in the committees/ workgroups) introduced by Co-Presidents:

    1. Rules and Guidelines: Presentation of the work done for/with Barcelona, Draft (Barcelona) Eurogames Rules, and further plans with ESSDA Rules, Discussion and Voting on Eurogames Rules

    2. Quality and Attractiveness (short introduction of idea)

    3. Championships (presentation of the task definition)

    4. Website: developing to a forum for news, communication and discussion

  3. Financial Plans for the forthcoming year –Treasurer

  4. Presentation of the Bylaws (including fees issues) – Ratification – CO-presidents

  5. Election of Board Candidates. – Secretary

  6. Any Other Business.

  1. An explanation of the voting system

  2. A sheet giving information about the 9 candidates that have been nominated

  3. A form to fill in to give to your proxy, whom you nominate to cast your vote

  4. A form to fill in and post so that your vote is counted

There is also a forum for discussion on the website on the main issues that are of concern to the members.
