Dance has always been very important in my life. Starting at a young age, I did ballet and modern. At 18 I started Latin and had a licence for competitions. But I never competed and instead went to the London Contemporary Dance School, where I finished a three years Bachelor Degree in Dance.

In 2000 I discovered same sex dancing. Between the Eurogames in Hannover 2001 and the Outgames in Copenhagen 2009, I participated in different competitions. In 2009, I organized a same sex dance competition in Zurich, Switzerland.

Even though I don’t compete actively anymore, I’m very interested in encouraging a good quality and platform for same sex dancing, which is why I applicated to be part of the board of ESSDA and work within ESSDA towards a good development of same sex dancing.
