Niels is an active dancer for over 20 years. With his partner Armin Lohrman he was finalist of the GayGames 1998, 2002 and 2006.

As member of the ESSDA committee "rules & guidelines" and as high licensed judge of the German Dancesport Association he tries to establish criteria for judging our special dance style "Equalitydancing" and to train the judges of same-sex competitions. Furthermore Niels is dance sport trainer and one of the "dance sport experts" of the GayGames 2010 at Cologne.
